When you scan a product in any convenience store in South Korea, you will be provided with the product information including product description, nutrition, and ingredients. You will also find a suitability information icon and a spicy icon. Suitability information is presented with either a happy face, meaning that the product matches your dietary profile or a sad face for products that don’t. Spicy icon will tell you whether the product is generally considered as spicy or not.
